SECOND DAY FILMING

Yesterday 13th of March was our second day filming, and we decided to follow our new location plan involving a few changes on our locations. According to our plan we where supposed to film in two different locations and produce as much footage as we could all in the same area of Madrid (Malasaña) . We spend around two hours and forty five minutes filming In both locations, where I decided to take several takes and photo as we had in plan.

WHAT WENT  WELL WHEN FILMING

- Yesterday, I think everything went really well, as we had been able to film everything we wanted in our planned period of time. Because It was not our fist time filming, I was able to learn from my mistakes committed on the the first day and therefore things went well.

- This time, I reassured all of the equipment needed for the day where packed in my back.  Thanks to this, I was able to take everything I needed with me and most importantly ready and able to be used, like the speaker which this time was fully charged.

- Moreover, a really crucial thing we did have this time was the whole crew and therefore, we where able to manage things easier such as filming behind the scenes and helping me when changing lenses in my camera, and helping me out to carry things around.

- Finally, one of the things that went really well, was the way we managed to move around so quickly with public transport and manage not to get lost due to our previous planning of the area around the location and the possible routes.

WHAT PROBLEMS I HAD TO FACE / EVEN BETTER IF

- One of the main problems I had to face yesterday when filming was being able to manage with the amount of people disturbing our shots. As I mentioned in a previous post, these locations where not meant to be our main locations. However due to Covid restrictions we had to do a quick change in our location plans therefore there where several problems such as the amount of people in the street that we had to deal with. Due to this problem we had to wait for the right moment to film when there was no one in the middle of our frame that made us lost some time.

- Moreover, another big challenge I encountered was filming with the right light levels. Due to the first location's low light (Calle Manzana 2), it was quit difficult for me to manage the right volume of light in the shot and therefore I had to try different times different types of light in order to get the right levels to make the shot looked as I wanted.

Down here are several Photographs and videos I managed to make from behind the scenes:
